Coral reef marine conservation, Indonesia

Coral reefs are being depleted and destroyed world wide due to the effects of climate change, the rise of water temperature has made these fragile ecosystems an easy target.

By joining this program you will be contributing to the protection, preservation and restoration of these very important organisms.

As part of the marine conservation efforts you will also take part in beach cleanups and recycling as well as community awareness.

On your time off you can explore the neighbouring islands to snorkel, enjoy the beach, go hiking and so much more!

LOCATION : Bali, Indonesia DURATION: From 1 to 12 weeks. COST: From $412/Week

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Learn everything about the fragile state of coral reefs

• Contribute to the conservation and restoration efforts of coral reefs in Bali.

• Learn how to snorkle and dive (PADI) and enjoy the company of all marine life.

• Help out to maintain the beaches clean from plastic waste and contribute to create awareness about recycling and reducing the use of plastic.

• Enjoy early morning sunrise boat trips joining fishermen and enjoy the company of dolphins!

• Long weekends off to explore the stunning marine life by snorkeling and diving, hiking to the amazing volcanoes or visiting the tropical Gili islands or visit the rice fields and it's amazing views.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• Accommodation, Volunteers share a room with 2 until 4 other same sex volunteer during their volunteering placement.

• Private couple rooms are available

• Private and shared western style bathroom

• Clean western style toilet and shower

• Ceiling Fans

• Bed sheets provided (changed weekly)

• Free onsite Wi-Fi access at the guesthouse.

• Three meals daily (Monday to Friday) consisting of Fruits, eggs, toasts, cereal, pancakes, tea & coffee for breakfast and fried rice and noodles, gado-gado, tofu, eggs, rendang, soups, tempeh and all sorts of salads for lunch and dinner.

• Airport pick up.

• All costs associated with volunteer activities.
